COPS uses Lean Six Sigma to advance community policing nationwide
Washington, DC, September 9, 2008: TCG, a leading government business strategy and IT company, announced today that the US Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) has awarded the company a contract to support transformation of knowledge resources, grants, financial, and administrative lines of business at the agency.
TCG began work on the knowledge resources management line of business in 2007, using Lean Six Sigma techniques to develop improved processes and procedures across the agency. This approach was well received at COPS and will now be applied to additional lines of business as the agency aims to realize its mission to advance community policing across the nation.

The work will be performed by TCG’s Washington, DC, office and will be supported by T3 Technologies, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business.
