For the fifth year in a row, TCG has been certified as a Great Place to Work. Certification is the result of the third-party analysis of a company-wide survey. Through the survey, employees gave particularly high marks to work/life balance and leadership’s commitment to establishing a caring environment, providing resources employees need to thrive, and embodying the company’s core values.
“We look at the Great Places to Work survey as another opportunity to hear from our employees about how we’re doing as a company,” said Daniel Turner, President of TCG. “This year 95% of TCGers said we’re a great place to work. We see that and think, ‘Fantastic!’ We also think, ‘Only 95%?’ So we’re of two minds, which makes for weird conversations at the dinner table but allows us to celebrate what we do well while finding areas for improvement. As Robert Browning wrote, ‘a man’s reach should exceed his grasp, Or what’s a heaven for?’”
As part of TCG’s BHAG to do good and be good while doing well, the company continually seeks objective assessments of how well it is living up to its core values, and how it compares to other companies in its commitment to employee happiness and well-being.
More than 75% of the company responded to the survey in June 2020. TCGers identified the company’s benefits, unique perqs, and their coworkers as some of the things that make TCG a great place to work.
