Like many older generation software developers, i.e. the set of programmers over 29, I have a lot of commitments that I can't put on hold for days at a time. In my professional life, I have my standard work hours. Then I usually have one or two side projects I work on for fun/education at any given time. At home I have a house to take care of and two young kids that need a lot of my time. Oh, and I also have a dog that is quite accustom "nosing" me for attention during the work day. This makes it quite difficult to hop a plane to attend any of the very cool tech conferences that are going on every week.
Since I can't be there in person, I always love it when I can find a set of conference videos online. It's not nearly as fun as going there in person, but watching the 3-4 sessions that look the most interesting to me is not nearly as difficult a commitment to make. Here are a few links to video sets I have found that were worth a look:
If you know of any more, please drop me a comment and I'll add them to the list.
