Like many older generation software developers, i.e. the set of programmers over 29, I have a lot of commitments that I can’t put on hold for days at a time. In my professional life, I have my standard work hours. Then I usually have one or two side projects I work on for fun/education at any given time. At home I have a house to take care of and two young kids that need a lot of my time. Oh, and I also have a dog that is quite accustom “nosing” me for attention during the work day. This makes it quite difficult to hop a plane to attend any of the very cool tech conferences that are going on every week.
Since I can’t be there in person, I always love it when I can find a set of conference videos online. It’s not nearly as fun as going there in person, but watching the 3–4 sessions that look the most interesting to me is not nearly as difficult a commitment to make. Here are a few links to video sets I have found that were worth a look:
If you know of any more, please drop me a comment and I’ll add them to the list.
