LAMHDI, the NIH initiative to Link Animal Models to Human Disease, held its annual planning meeting last week (August 15–17) in Bethesda. Attended by scientists and researchers from nine cooperating institutions and several federal agencies, the meeting focused on ways to extend the service at http://www.lamhdi.org to new areas and to meet emerging needs in treating and curing human disease. TCG has held the contract to run the LAMHDI program since its inception in 2008.
