We finally completed the white paper documenting the lessons learned by the top five winners of last year’s Excellence.Gov Awards, and you can grab it here. The theme in 2007 was Lessons Learned to Leverage Technology to Enhance Collaboration. There are some excellent lessons and how-to’s here, such as:

• Invest in change management
• Encourage experimentation

The programs that contributed to the paper were:

• EPA E‑Rulemaking
• DC Government JUSTIS
• FAA Knowledge Services Network
• VA MyHealtheVet

These programs have literally “been there, done that” and anyone involved in collaborative communities should take a look at this paper.
