TCG’s Lisa Alferieff is a 2012 Rising Star Award Winner

TCG Staff Receive Recognition for Fourth Year in a Row

Washington, DC, August 7, 2012:  TCG Chief Operating Officer Lisa Alferieff has been selected by Federal Computer Week as a 2012 Rising Star. The Rising Star award program recognizes top public and private sector employees who have made an early—and substantive—mark in the government information technology community. This is the fourth year in a row that a TCG employee has been honored as a Rising Star. Ms. Alferieff joins previous TCG Rising Star winners Brian Ibbison in 2011, Nina Preuss in 2010, and Rich Renomeron in 2009. This year, Ms. Alferieff was one of 12 individuals from over 75 nominees selected for this prestigious honor. The award announcement is posted on the Federal Computer Week website.

A PMP-certified project manager, Ms. Alferieff oversees TCG operations, particularly engagements at the Executive Office of the President and Treasury, and provides program-management oversight to most TCG projects. Her role encompasses customer relationship management, resource orchestration, budget control, and strategic organizational development. Ms. Alferieff takes a holistic view of TCG’s performance, integrating technical, administrative, analytical, and other resources to create teams that solve significant challenges in government, operating at the speed of a startup while retaining accurate and appropriate accountability to taxpayers.

“Lisa has an incredible ability to provide structure and predictability to very chaotic, mission-driven environments and to deftly involve clients, her teams, and users to attain common goals,” said TCG President Dan Turner. “Her talents as a leader and as a strategic thinker demonstrate why she truly is a rising star.”
