Seventh TCGer to Be Recognized Joins Our Constellation of Rising Stars

Washington, DC: TCG Scrum Master Jeremiah Burch has been selected by Federal Computer Week as a 2018 Rising Star. The Rising Star program recognizes top public and private sector employees who have made an early and substantive mark in the government information technology community. Jeremiah is the seventh TCGer to be recognized as a Rising Star.

He is one of 20 individuals selected for this prestigious honor from a field of nominees from across government, contractors, and non-profits. The award announcement is posted on the FCW website and complete profiles of all awardees will be published in October.

Jeremiah joined TCG a little over a year ago and has already made a substantial impact in his role leading application development and operations and maintenance for the Office of Management and Budget’s ITDashboard.gov. He was instrumental in leading an integrated project team to transform the IT Dashboard to accept and validate Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and Technology Business Management (TBM) data for $84B in annual federal IT investments, submitted by 27 government agencies for incorporation into the President’s Budget.

This year the award is part of the organization’s larger Government Innovation Awards program. Supervisors or co-workers nominate individuals for the awards, and a distinguished panel of judges chooses the winners.
