SmartCEO Recognizes TCG Management Team

Executive Team Wins Coveted Award Whilst TCG President Brags About TCG’s Hiring Process

Washington, DC, March 5, 2012:  TCG’s president, Daniel Turner, and the TCG executive management team are featured in two articles in the March issue of SmartCEO magazine. TCG’s management is featured as one of the best senior leadership teams in Washington, DC, and is a winner of the publication’s 2012 Washington Smart CXO Awards in the Executive Management Team category. The team was recognized for its promotion of the company’s core values throughout the organization and its decision to focus on depth rather than breadth in terms of service offerings. Both of these strategies have been fundamental in driving the company’s rapid growth.

The Washington SmartCXO Awards honor executives who support their organization’s initiatives by supplying fresh ideas, making tough decisions, and building strong talent within their companies. In addition to the Executive Management Team category, winners were also announced in the CFO, COO, and CIO/CTO categories. This year SmartCEO received over 250 nominations in Washington and only 40 awards were given across all four categories. Collectively, this year’s winners have successfully grown their organizations to over 26,000 people and boast combined revenues of $8 billion.

TCG and other winners of the Washington SmartCXO Awards will be feted at an awards event on March 28, 2012, at the University of Maryland’s Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center in College Park, MD. Registration details are here.

Additionally, Mr. Turner participated in the recurring “CEOForum: Interviews” column, where he was interviewed along with six other CEOs about the hiring and interview strategies that have helped make their companies successful. Mr. Turner highlighted the importance of TCG’s “cultural interview,” which emphasizes compatibility with the company’s core values as a key to hiring the right people.
