TCGer Michael Drescher joins the ACT-IAC 2018 Class of Partners

Michael DrescherTCG congratulates Michael Drescher on his acceptance into the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) Partners Program. Upon graduation from the program in October 2018, Michael will join the ACT-IAC Fellows community, “the premier, trusted collaborative network of over 850 accomplished government and industry executives focused on solving government’s toughest challenges.”

The ACT-IAC Partners Program is a highly competitive training program that pairs government and industry professionals in a series of courses that foster collaboration and problem-solving toward today’s IT acquisition and program management challenges. Through this program, Partners gain a greater understanding of government and industry leadership roles and responsibilities, and are prepared to take executive leadership at their respective agencies and companies.

“I’m eager to dive into the program and start working with the Partners,” Michael explained. “Through this program, I hope to gain insights on market trends, emerging client needs, and leadership strategies and techniques that will make me more effective and accelerate TCG’s success in the marketplace.”

Michael joined TCG in early 2016 and currently manages a $15 million program at the U.S. International Trade Commission, as well as projects at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. He is an accomplished Federal Program Manager, Operations Executive, Strategic Business Advisor, and organizational performance expert. Michael has nearly 20 years of experience in strategy and management advisory services, focusing on clients in the public and financial services sectors. He has successfully managed over $400 million in federal contracts and $100 million in private sector contracts focused on project and program management, systems implementation, software development, web applications, data governance, and reorganization efforts.

Michael has been involved with ACT-IAC for over five years and currently serves as the Shared Services Community of Interest Programs Chair.
