Team Recognized for Excellence in Leadership
Washington, DC, January 25, 2012: TCG, a leading government technology strategy and IT advisor, announced that its executive management team has been named as one of the best senior leadership teams in Washington, DC, by the 2012 SmartCXO Awards. The awards are sponsored by SmartCEO magazine.
The Washington SmartCXO Awards honor executives who support their organization’s initiatives by supplying fresh ideas, making tough decisions, and building strong talent within their companies. TCG was recognized in the Executive Management Team category. Winners were also announced in the CFO, COO, and CIO/CTO categories. This year SmartCEO received over 250 nominations in Washington and only 40 executives/teams were chosen as winners across all four categories. Collectively, this year’s winners have successfully grown their organizations to over 26,000 people and boast combined revenues of $8 billion.
TCG and other winners of the Washington SmartCXO Awards will be profiled in the March issue of Washington SmartCEO magazine and feted at an awards event on March 28, 2012, at the University of Maryland’s Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center in College Park, MD.
“I am delighted—but unsurprised—that our executive management team has been honored by SmartCEO with this award,” said TCG President Daniel Turner. “It’s clear that I’m a good manager because I hired people way smarter and far more capable than I am. They’re responsible for the phenomenal growth TCG has achieved over the last five years, with five consecutive years of record revenue, and a growth rate of 1,090% over the last six years. They’ve been instrumental, in the truest musical sense of the word, in helping us to grow the company and achieve our corporate goals. Hats off to our team—they truly deserve this recognition!”
