XEyes: an Old Friend for a Modern Problem

137Do you lose your mouse pointer? As we move to 2, 3, or 4 monitors, or use massive 4K monitors (I admit I want one!), our mouse pointers become ninjas hiding among the windows, icons, and desktop graphics. Microsoft provides a “CTRL” hotkey to make it appear, but I prefer an old friend: XEyes. Written by Jeremy Huxtable back in 1988, these cute little black and white eyes follow your cursor around. Lost your pointer again? Follow the gaze of your desktop colleague. Download an open source port of XEyes to Windows on SourceForge.
