This morning the 2007 Excellence.Gov Awards judges settled on the top 5 award winners. I can’t tell you who they are — for that you’ll need to attend the February 20 lunch at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington DC (registration details are forthcoming). We’ve got 20 great finalists and five very worthy winners, all of whom are superb examples of “Leveraging Technology to Enable Collaboration”! Enormous thanks goes to each of our judges, who did an outstanding job in reviewing 115 nominations.

We’ve also finalized our speaker for the February event, with potentially another surprise speaker at our March 20th Winners Presentation (to be held at GSA in downtown DC). I’ll post more details about these folks when we have final confirmations. All in all, it’s getting to be a very exciting event!
