Through the wonders of Google I found this press release from General Dynamics about the Anteon Grants.gov contract win. Included in it is the following statement:

Utilizing the Adobe® LifeCycle® forms server and a search application, the General Dynamics’ Grants.gov system will support all grant applicant communities regardless of their computer operating platform. General Dynamics’ solution permits efficient orchestration of assembly and disassembly of grant application packages and substantial system scalability and improves searching grant applications and web site content.

So clearly Adobe is the e‑forms approach for the new Grants.gov system. Like I said before, I’m hoping that General Dynamics/Anteon has some “special sauce” to make this work effectively.
