Millennium Challenge Corporation Awards Software Development Contract to TCG

Company Will Help MCC Innovate Through Cloud Computing and Grants Management Expertise

Washington, DC, February 14, 2013: The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)—a U.S. government foreign aid agency that supports investments in developing nations across the world to enhance economic growth and reduce poverty—has awarded TCG an order under the CIO-SP3 Small Business Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for software development, modernization, and enhancement services with a base year and four one-year options.

Under this contract, TCG will draw upon its deep understanding of the MCC’s mission, Federal grant-making, and development of services using cloud technologies to address all of the MCC’s software development needs and objectives. In addition to software development support, TCG will provide technical, operations, program management, and administrative support for all of phases of the software development life cycle.

“MCC is different from most other Federal grant-makers in that it focuses on investment rather than aid,” said TCG president Dan Turner. “Using modern cloud technologies and techniques, we can help MCC better track its return on those investments. We look forward to working in partnership with the MCC to embrace these opportunities and help accomplish its important mission with greater effectiveness at lower cost.”
