Department of Commerce National Technical Information Service (NTIS) Joint Venture Partnership for Data Innovation Support

The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) selected TCG as a joint venture partner for Data Innovation Support. NTIS is an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce that helps federal agencies find new and innovative ways of using data to solve problems. Agencies interested in accessing NTIS’s support can do so by following the guidance provided on its website (https://www.ntis.gov/partner.html).

As a partner with NTIS, TCG supports Federal data service opportunities that have been identified by NTIS. This includes work in applied data science, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and cybersecurity. The goal of the joint venture partnership is to assist the Federal agencies in leveraging data as a strategic asset to achieve mission outcomes.

The scope of work includes designing, testing, analyzing, and demonstrating the application of Federal data and data services; facilitating the creation of suites of products, platforms, and services that assist Federal agencies in meeting the needs of businesses, innovators, government agencies, and others; and enhancing data discovery and usability, data interoperability and standards, data analytics and forecasting, or data infrastructure and security. TCG provides specialized expertise in data cleansing and interoperability; data search, combination, analysis, and dissemination; and implementing secure data infrastructures.
